Handicare EvaDrive – Winner of the German Innovation Awards 2019

Handicare Group Ab announces that EvaDrive, a motorised lift from Handicare that drastically reduces the force required for transferring and lifting patients, was awarded winner of the German Innovation Awards 2019 earlier this year, in the category Excellence in Business to Consumer – Medical and health.    

The German Innovation Awards honour products and solutions across sectors, which differ from previous solutions mainly by being user-centred and offering added value. With 695 entries in 2019, the German Innovation Awards achieved a great response. A total of 36 products/projects were awarded and EvaDrive was the winner in the category Excellence in Business to Consumer – Medical and health.

EvaDrive from Handicare is a lift that drastically reduces the force required for transferring and lifting patients. It requires minimal strength and effort to operate EvaDrive, even in the narrowest of spaces. The control handle responds to gentle fingertip movements and single carer can easily operate the lift even with plus-size patients.
